A. Yes/No, We prefer to make an appointment to you to reduce wait time but also you can walk-in during our normal business hours and be seen by a physician.

Q. What is my co-pay for a visit at Malireddy Family Medicine in Downingtown?

A. Co-Pays vary between insurance plans and individual benefits. The majority of patients co-pay's range between $20 to $40 but we have seen some plans with a $5 co-pay and others with a $50 co-pay. If you want to know your co-pay before your visit, please call us at 484-237-8930 with your insurance details and we can give you the exact co-pay for your plan. If you have deductible, you may owe more, and we will bill you for the balance. But in most cases for Annual physicals there is no CoPay .

Q. How much will a typical visit with insurance cost me at Malireddy Family Medicine Center in Downingtown, PA?

A. It varies between insurance plans and individual benefits. At the time of visit, we collect the co-pay, if you have one, then bill your insurance for the services we have provided. For in-network services, if you have already met your deductible or don't have a deductible or co-insurance then insurance company will pay based on their contract rate. If we are out of network with your insurance or you have a deductible that has not yet been met or you have a co-insurance, then we will bill you for the balance based on the insurance companies contracted rate.

Q. How much will the visit cost if I have no insurance?

Q. What do I need to bring when I come to Medical Office ?

A. The patient needs to bring a photo ID and insurance card. If the patient is minor, we use the photo ID of the accompanying parent or guardian.

Q. How long is the wait to see a doctor in Malireddy Family Medicine?

A. Patients are seen on a walk-in, first come, first served basis and are usually in and out within 30 to 45 minutes. Occasionally patients may experience longer than the typical wait time if multiple people walk-in at the same time. We make every effort to staff our clinics appropriately to keep wait times to a minimum. If you call before coming we will schedule an appointment to you so that you don't have to wait more time.

Q. How is your office different from my other doctor's office?

A. We can give you same day appointments, late hour appointments as well as week end appointments at your convenience and you will be treated at Malireddy Family Medicine without even making an appointment. If you have a busy schedule or don't feel well enough to wait to see your doctor. While both care for common illnesses, we are a better choice for non life threatening injuries that require x-rays etc. You should visit us if you have chronic health issues that require managed care, such as diabetes, high blood pressure or psychiatric disorders.

Q. When should I not visit your practice?

A. If you are experiencing life threatening conditions such as significant chest pain, shortness of breath, rectal bleeding, or passing out (syncope), extremely high fevers in the young or the elderly, these types of issues are best treated in an Emergency Room at your local hospital. Although our offices are staffed by board certified physicians, life threatening emergencies often require advanced levels of care available only at a hospital.

Q. Do you provide X-Rays at your facility?

A.No, we do not have X-Ray equipment and X-Ray techs on-site.

Q. Do you have medications on-site?

A. No, We do NOT have medication on-site.

Q. Do you do STD testing?

A. At Our Center we can do a comprehensive screening for STD's. Most insurances will cover the tests but if you are not insured, we have affordable self pay prices. Our doctors will discuss the different tests and which ones would be appropriate, depending on your risk factors and symptoms.

Q. Where can I get Travel Vaccinations in West Chester, Exton or Downingtown areas?

A. We offer Travel Meds & Vaccinations for domestic and international travelers. Walk-Ins are welcome. Call us for pricing.

Q. Where can I get DOT/CDL Medical card in West Chester, Downingtown or Exton areas?

A. Our doctors are eligible to do DOT Physical Exams and issue the required Medical Card for commercial drivers license in Pennsylvania and other states. No appointments needed.

Q. Where can I get school, learners permit or sports physicals in West Chester, Exton or Downingtown areas?
